Associations & Resources

ALSA

The Alpaca & Llama Show Association sanctions llama shows of all levels across the country.  ALSA shows hold classes for conformation, showmanship, obstacle, driving, and youth competition.

GALA

The Greater Appalachian Llama Association provides information and resources to its members to help educate about llamas and their wellbeing.

ILR

The International Lama Registry maintains accurate and extensive pedigrees for all llamas registered in the United States.

LFA

The Llama Futurity Association provides a forum for llamas to be judged on their fiber and overall marketability, as well as their conformation.

 

Farms

Buck Hollow Llamas

Doug & Carol Reigh own Buck Hollow Llamas in Pennsylvania.  Carol offers one of the best llama restraint chutes on the market at a reasonable price.

Dakota Ridge Farm

Katrina Capasso of Dakota Ridge Farm raises llamas, encourages youth participation in training and showing, and is an excellent photographer.
East Fork Ranch Heather Bamford & Neil Josselyn have a carefully picked herd of llamas well known for fine fiber and correct conformation.  East Fork Ranch is home to Riny's King Crimson.

Maple Hill Farm

Phil Feiner & Larry Rothenberg have built a strong foundation herd and consistently produce fine fibered, show quality llamas.
Oak Hollow Livestock Sara & Carl Davis have a small farm in North Central Massachusetts where they raise llamas and Boer goats.  Sara offers professional llama and alpaca shearing throughout New England.
